COMMUNICATION/SOCIAL NETWORKING/TECHNOLOGY
IDEAS IN UNEXPECTED PLACES
James Piecowye & Giorgio Ungania
ABSTRACT
Over the five days, workshop participants will explore, create and implement a physical means of talking to and engaging communities in Dubai with ideas for change. They will learn to employ and exploit Web2.0 technology effectively, the art of rapidly piloting ideas (ready-fire-aim), unconventional storytelling methods, computer facilitated multimedia experiences, team trust, grassroots communication strategies and more. The end of the workshop series will culminate in one or several projects being implemented to literally bring the conceptualized idea to life and generate a reaction. Participants will be expected to not only think about DESIGN CHANGE but also how to be that change.
